Hee, yes, this would be a great series to rec to parents - it's got generally good messages as you say, while being all awesome and badass and exciting!

And awful fun for us adults, too, for the same reasons. I do rather love Artemis (okay, and I cop to enjoying him being all complex-ed and nearly out of his depth, aww *wibbles with you*) And I'm quite fond of Holly, too - the whole cast is crazy but lovable in spite of themselves, really ^^
