I warn you that the Ultimates supposedly gets very weird after a certain point, which is when you get the canon incest, etc. There's also cannibalism, domestic abuse ... stuff they maybe didn't want in the main books.

I have a bunch of Marvel Adventures Avengers under my bed so apparently I liked that, although it's aimed for younger audiences than the mainstream stuff.
