Spider-man and Peter Parker have a very tight grip on my heart (geeky, earnest underdog heroes FTW!). I did enjoy the movies, but they suffer on a rewatch, and by now I just watch a scene or two now and then and skip the rest. The new one looks great though! I have high hopes. And the books and comics are so good! Especially when Spider-man gets to team up with other heroes. He's such a fanboy. . . and I could just hijack this comment thread and let loose ALL my Spider-man thoughts, but you're saved because I'm typing on my phone. :P
