Hee, yeah - my thing is that I love time travel and AUs, so I have thought a lo~t about them, and making them work logically. I don't really care about the science (current science doesn't allow for time travel at all, really, and where's the fun in that!), but stories are more interesting to me when there are coherent rules rather than deus ex machina. So I spent much of the last ep of Fringe thinking about how many other ways there were out of their dilemma, rather than focusing on the emotional ramifications of that dilemma.
But that's just my own tastes in fiction, and Fringe does great things with its characters; I really appreciated it for that, even if it frustrated me personally in other aspects!
