time for an h/c comment fest!

The last couple of days have been rough on my writing (for dumb annoying reasons, why don't we come installed with a "will not be bothered by this thing" button?)

So! In the hopes of getting me to write something, and because this is what I'm feeling most wobbly about: it's time for hurt/comfort comment-fic!

Leave me a prompt/request for h/c, any hurt or any comfort, short or long as you want -- if it's character-specific, Guardian WeiLan please, that's all I'm in the mood to write; if that's not your thing then please leave a more general prompt! I don't promise to write anything (nor do I promise to write an actual commentfic and not some 10K-word monster, knowing me) but I would love any inspiration.

And if one of the prompts happens to tickle your fancy, please post your own comment fic (art, etc!) here (any fandoms, any characters) -- the more h/c the merrier!

Wow, this is incredible, I'm breathless. I love your evocative, poetic language, and the way we can see gaps in Shen Wei's POV where he loses track of time and himself due to the cold attack. I love his stoic self, the way we only get glimpses of just how frozen, hurt, and iced over he is, because his focus is all on Zhao Yunlan, and that feels so achingly in character.

Oh, the tender worried distraction, looking at Zhao Yunlan ("the worrying bruised plum brought by the deep cold" oof, gorgeous). And then Zhao Yunlan is taking care of him and he is still so cold, but I have faith things will get better.

I am trying to say this in the least pressuring way possible: if you should want to write more fic for these two I would be HERE FOR IT. <3

Thank you! Shen Wei walks a fine line between lacking self-awareness and having excellent self-awareness but choosing to disregard anything not pertaining to either his current goal or Zhao Yunlan. In this story he very much does both at once, and that made him extremely unreliable and fun to write. He doesn't lie but ooooh boy does he pick and choose what information gets through. Poor Zhao Yunlan trying to take care of him!

I might clean this up, find a beta and put it on Ao3. M But i also probably won't make a habit of writing. Or at least, not continuously like this (versus spontaneous twitterfics). I prefer to draw, or cheers for others works, and would like to do more of that instead.
