All of this! I never, ever, ever want to sound disdainful of any fan who approaches and loves their media differently than I do. I'm happy to have found some fellow happy raccoons to trade shinies with, but it's equally important for me to make clear that if I've reached the flailing and fic-writing stage in any fandom, it's because something in the canon is brilliant and true, and found me where I live. <3
