I love how you put this, and yeah, that they both wear masks is one of my favorite things, because they both have the love, patience, and insight to see behind them - Shen Wei isn't fooled by ZYL's cheerful idiot act, and ZYL isn't fooled by Shen Wei's Professor or Envoy masks.
