I definitely feel you on the battle with the writing demons. But it's awesome you're still writing every day! I think every little bit counts, even--maybe especially--when it feels like it doesn't.

Also damn that snippet... The tension! I loved the pon farr fic possibly an unreasonable amount, and have always wondered about Shen Wei's past before meeting Kunlun and his traumatic experiences insinuated in the fic. I would absolutely read this prequel ftr, but I know there's a sense of comfort in just writing something you're not going to publish. It def helps take the pressure off.
