But everyone had known the truth, how with his cronies, the crime bosses and other supervillains, Lex Luthor must have been triumphant, celebrating the loss of his hated foe. Ouch. That's pretty damn horrible. Wouldn't blame Lex for cracking and going seriously evil after a while - but well, he had Kon.

"I wonder if it is the pheromo-spores," Martha remarked brightly, "I've been wondering if they're as interesting as Clark makes them sound," and the three of them leaned over the railing to get a good view of the carefully orchestrated chaos unfolding on the street below.

I died a little. Martha rules :)

I wish anyone would ever talk to Lex this reasonably on the show. I watched the episode with Richie's Dad being racist yesterday - Robert is way cool, even though he's kind of an ass about the "Static" thing. (And gosh, imagining Virgil older - he'd be the hottest toon character ever!)

If you write more in this 'verse I'd love to see Clark and Lex publicly pretending to be nemeses :D
