Oh, last season finale, when Dean was dying - Sam was panicking and breaking and desperate, and ran to Dean when he collapsed, but he didn't actually touch him. Which - yeah, Dean was so hurt you could argue Sam was afraid of making it worse, but it's also interesting to see how differently the boys react in situations which are so similar... (What can I say - I want my hugging! It makes me happy.)
