Awesome chapter, and great time to converge the two worlds in one!

But it did make recreating it problematic, in the event of a cross-universe mental transference. He would have to develop a contingency protocol, later.
This makes me regret not making enough time to get back being a sci-fi fan! *hearts scientist!Lex*

"What the hell, Lex? Have you been hitting the sauce harder than usual?"
I love Mercy. She's my idol. Only, I have less pictures of her and more of Lex. :D

Which didn't matter to him anyway; he had his own LexCorp to manage. But the millions of lives of employees and their families and everyone else subject to this company--that mattered. If Clark wasn't here to remind him, at least Mercy was.
Yay for competent-businessman!Lex, because I always hate it when LexCorp goes down (*growls at direction of SV canon*) for whatever reason, even if it's Lex's fault in whatever canon. LexCorp is, like Lex's creations that become their own entity, his offspring.

"It's necessary, you see, to prepare for my upcoming presidential bid."
Ooh, very clever excuse!

Lex had no fucking clue what to say.
That's because while he thinks could handle a Clark that loves him, he can't act his way out of this without being the Lex that loves Clark. That's the foundation of Clark's belief in him, and so evil!Lex should be careful not to cross even the big-hearted superhero.

I could kind of see where you're going with the Imogen Carrefour plot of this story, but I'm sure you'll pull it off in much more surprising ways I could think of. :D
