He truly does believe that Superman is going to destroy the human race, one way or another, and he truly does believe that his own life is constantly hanging in the balance with Superman (even this Superman) around. *hugs poor, brave, paranoid Lex* If Clark can just keep from triggering Lex's self-protective instincts, they may both live through this. *crosses fingers and hopes hard for mutual survival* I love Clark being so worried that his own counterpart may harm his Lex in the other universe, and I love his shock at the idea of his harming this other Lex, for any reason, and his utter pain at the idea that this Lex and his counterpart truly do hate each other. I love this Lex denying (or trying to deny) all the little things that make him want to soften towards Clark. *whirls in rapture* I LOVE THIS STORY!!!
