Apologies. >.> I didn't mean to squish the squee in any way--especially since I agree with 99% of everything you said. I was aiming more for general discussion and hopes to find answers to my own disgruntlement/"Am I just seeing this in the wrong light or what," than to create more disgruntlement.
And it's quite possible that my reaction to that particular scene will change once I get a chance to sit down and watch the episode properly, as opposed to at one AM, after an obnoxiously long and early day>.> And if time presents itself in the next day or so, I will certainly do a proper post of my own^_^
