NCIS fic: These Things Do Happen

Argh! The usual December writing doldrums are putting such a crimp in my fic-style. I've got a story due for sga_santa, but am I writing that? Of course not! Instead, when I finally did manage to kick myself into writing, this popped out. --Before anyone throws up their hands in either delight or dismay, no, this is not the start of anything. If gnine gets her wish there might be one or two more where this one came from, but nothing major. I'm still going steady with SGA; this is just a fling.

--Though I must do an NCIS post o' squee; I'm all caught up to the current season and enjoying the heck out of it. Such a fun series! Such a cute team! And yeah, I love Tony like burning. (It's totally not my fault - he's basically a clone of the fanon Peter Venkman, the hot, juvenile, womanizing wise-ass with hidden depths. Plus he hurts real good.) No Tony-hurt here, though; no angst at all, just goofiness. Don't blame me, it's December. (Poor Tim. I'm sorry, sweetie!)

So Cute! I love the grilling the girls give McGee and how he keeps trying to NOT answer all the while probably wondering how this 'spilling his guts' conversation ever got away from him.
