I'm confessing here so certain people can holler at me, as I well know you will, though I swear it's not my fault, I didn't want to do it, I can't help that Kaiba is such a compelling SOB.

...which is to say, yeah. I wrote Yu-Gi-Oh fic. Moreover, I didn't even write good YGO fic. No, instead I had to retell the same damn flashback story I'm sure has been done a thousand times before on ff.net. Only with overextended metaphors and in second person, just to be contrary. And while I drew a little on the anime filler, most of it is based on what we've thus far seen of Kaiba's backstory in the manga. So it was essentially inspired by all of three pages of manga.

What can I say. They're a really interesting three pages.

Oh wow, it's SUPER hard to find good Kaiba/Yami fic. There's just SO MUCH of it, and some most of it is really awful, some of it is so-so, and a super small percentage is really good.

Of course, most of the time I find a lot of Kaiba/Tristen (forgot his japanese name), and God forbid, Kaiba/Mokuba. I don't like either of them. XP

I'm sure there are some fic recs on fanfiction.net (each fandom has one), and most of the fics I read were on ff.

...I've still have more luck finding good Kaiba/Yami than Kaiba/Jounouchi, which is the most popular pairing it seems, and yet every single one seems to have "...Kaiba confesses his love" which makes my brain a'splode. Kaiba-kun doesn't confess. Anything. Ever. If for some reason he suddenly decided his lust for Jounouchi (!...?) was too distracting he'd just grab him by the belt and say, "You. Wall. Turn around."

...not that I've been trawling the depths of ff.net. Or anything.

Kaiba/Mokuba!...sigh. My trouble is that Seto & Mokuba is pretty much my favorite relationship in the series. But as platonic adorable brothers. Which makes the finding of fic very difficult. Ah, the curse of being a gen fic'er!

Yeah that's true, I found this fic that was actually pretty promising until Yami and Kaiba started crying like girls ALL the time because their love was ohsodooooommeeed. ^_^;; Kaiba may be bitchy, but he isn't pms'ing. Okay maybe he is, but no tears! XP
