Torchwood 2x05-2x06

Two eps aired this week, just watched them and:

I was all set to go on like naye just did, about how "Adam" is really quite a nifty ep, cool ideas executed with panache and drama and Jack being both angsty and comforting, deliciously; and then "Reset" is lots of fun and Martha Jones is many, many flavors of sexy funny awesome, and I actually am seriously, unexpectedly loving on Ianto, to the point that I can see him being a really good partner for Jack...but then the last minute of "Reset" happened and NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!

B-but - he - you can't - you don't understand, I am the one of those rare few on lj who loves Owen, and then you - just! With the teaminess! And then! No! Bad show! No cookie!

*whimpers & goes to bed*

I didn't have any spoilers myself (though now I do, because after that I couldn't help it...*bites tongue*)(I can tell you about the non-existent spoiler, because I actually dreamed I was reading an excerpt from the finale and Owen was there. So in my dreams Owen definitely lives!) and just...Owen being shot, that works fiiiiine for me, I was all, whee - and then you see how bad it is and noooooooooooo~! Even if it did have Jack holding onto him and calling him "buddy" (...SGA has totally screwed me for that. I've had other chars who say "buddy" but Sheppard only says it to his friends, and often in stressful situations, and he doesn't use nicknames or anything much otherwise, and also Ronon & Rodney have both picked it up from him, and anyway the upshot is, it makes me coo~ now!)

So curious about Martha's boyfriend, hee. And Owen agreed to go out with Tosh (that should've been the clue that Bad Things were on the horizon) and he wasn't being sarcastic, I think he's actually making an honest effort not to be an ass. And oh man, Ianto cracks me up so much these days I can't help but love him.

B-b-but Owen~~~~~~~~!

(the one thing that gives me some comfort is that, even if Owen is dead, I'm confident the show will not pull an SGA and forget about him after a single ep...)

BUT! I mean. Yes! But! Also! No! I...!

*whimper*

I don't think I'm ready to face anything except massive denial and not wanting this to be true and going DAMN YOU SHOW for making me love Owen just to set him up for THIS. I HATE YOU, SHOW I REALLY DO but oh you're growing up into such a marvelous thing...! ♥

Watching SPN's Mystery Spot now to distract myself. Might be back later if I'm coherent...!
