Regarding Torchwood's season 2 finale [spoilers]:

SGA's "Trio" - gnine & I watched it, and then rewatched the whole ep. It was that much fun. naye and friendshipper have covered the salient points, so just a few more thoughts in passing:

Torchwood has really been rocking the casbah! Good show, show, keep it up! The premiere is still my favorite of the season, but I've enjoyed all the eps, and the latest (2x04) made me happy, because...

We were rewatching a couple Torchwood eps last night (after watching Dr. Who, the show gets to me more - positively, because I love Jack on a whole new level, even TW's emo!Jack - and negatively, because knowing what that crew can do, it's frustrating that TW doesn't live up to its potential. It too often feels like they sacrifice plots and characters for the sake of being 'gritty' and 'dark' and 'adult'.)
