Seriously, I don't know if you are still writing fanfiction, but this was a piece of art. Love the character sketches performed. In fact I quoted your "He's the one who's supposed to be rubber, but the whole damn world bends around him" (hope you don't mind)and gave credit to "Overboard" on fanfiction.net lol I didn't even remember the authors name... But anyways, cool stuff bro. Keep it up.

Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed the story! I am still writing fic, though not really OP these days - not because I don't love the series, but so much is happening in it that it's difficult to keep up with it. But it's great to know someone's still reading and liking my older stories!

Hiya X-parrot,
I just wanted to tell you that I really enjoy reading one particular fanfic of yours: Final Fantasy 8's Promise of Nightmares.

You wrote that 10 years ago-- and I read it 7 years back, and still I come back to it once in a while when I'm feeling FF8-nostalgic. It is such an excellent read-- your development of characters (human AND non!) did more justice to them all more than SE ever did.

Your writing style, topped with religious original story reference-- more beautifully expanded I might say, made me enjoy the fanfic just as much or perhaps a little more than the game itself. I could go on, but I think I should stop x]

Hee, thank you! As old as that story is, it's still one of my favorites, and one of the most ambitious fics in terms of length and cast that I've ever done. I'm very glad to know it worked for you before, and still is enjoyable now! ^^

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU FINISHED TIGER HUNT! I'M SO HAPPY! I remember I started reading it when I was in eighth grade and sending you emails begging you to continue with it and now I'm entering my sophomore year of college, ha ha! It was SO worth the wait! You write BRILLIANTLY, your prose is beautiful, and your characterization is spot on! I can't wait to see what you come out with next!

Ah, lovely, I never know where to contact you exactly and since you didn't make an LJ post about Chapter 10 and I don't have a clue how to use Tumblr (except for OOOOH! RIGHT CLICKY TIME!!!!)... I figured I would just message you here.

Chapter 10 is brilliant and chilling and I am worried about Loki's state of mind and maybe even yours if you are channeling him. Gee whiz. And of course I'm feeling all hey-yo smug because I merged a couple disparate plot elements in what I'm struggling with and maybe I have a decent story and then BAM. Show me, mofo! Sigh. Twelve years in and you still remain the level to which I strive.

I will have to settle for sloppy-seconds too!woobie!Loki since you have cornered the market on canon with a fierceness I can't hope to match. It's said you can never write a character any smarter than yourself. Loki totally pwned me but I suspect you will pwn Loki.

(Ack I tried to email you a reply and then the only email I have from you is aol! Not sure that's it ^^;;)

...and yeeeeeah communicating on Tumblr is...not easy. It's very much designed for the clicky-squee and is great for that, but loses out badly on the SOCIAL part of social media, grrr!

But so glad you are enjoying the story! Though eheheh, now I worry, I can only take so much canon!Loki myself...which is to say the woobie is coming. What can I say, in the end I can't help it, I love the squish! ^^;;;; (Also when it comes to his twisty bag-of-cats mind, I am totally cheating, you realize - there is a REASON the whole story is from Thor's POV! Even I don't need to figure out exactly what's going on inside Loki's pointy head~ ;)

And I'm looking forward to seeing what you're doing to him (though I'm still hoping it won't end too badly for him, I want to read it, but I can only take so much angst~...I am such a wuss ^^;;;)
