xparrotSo I happened to come across a few spoilers for the upcoming eps of Ben 10, and the summary for the season finale is "It's Ben and company's last stand against an enemy they can't bring themselves to fight."
Kevin is so boarding the Supervillain Express again, yippeeee~! \o/ (extra bonus points if his energy absorption is self-sacrificial and necessary to defeat Aggregor. Please?)
(...Okay, so I'm going to love this while it lasts, but it's not going to take, right? They're going to snap him out of it in the end, right? Right??? It's a kid's cartoon, you can't shake up the character dynamic that much. There's toys on the line here!)
The last few eps have been pretty dumb (and even worse cases of 'let's cram an entire 2 hour feature-length film plot into 20 minutes!' than usual) but I loved them anyway, for the worry and cuteness and a heartfelt conversation or two and Kevin & Gwen snogging. Also Kevin's fish, hee. So looking forward to the rest of the season (and so very glad that they're already producing the next season, totally need more of this show. Especially if it might have Kevin angst/guilt over backsliding into evil for a bit...)
In semi-related news, Yuletide noms should be open soon - we've been wrangling like mad this last week, getting all the new fandom and char tags ready for the Archive...!
