Gintama Fic: Pandemonium 2/?

Though I still haven't watched the final 2 episodes, I was flipping through the later manga, and oh man they need to bring back the anime~. Dying to see (and hear!) the utter crack of the 2-years-later arc, and neeeeed the Kabuki-chou arc (which has a couple conversations that resonate with scenes later in this fic, in fact, which is either yay, characterization win; or oops, unintentional plagiarism? ^^;)

Speaking of which, am forging ahead - here's part 2, and the Shinsengumi make an appearance (minor players now, but in the second half they kind of take over a bit...) Big huge thanks to anyone who's commented (and to naye for her incredibly flattering rec!) - it starts out on the slow side, but I swear it picks up ^^;

Wonderful, hilarious and intriguing! I can't wait for the Shinsengumi Corp. and Zura Inc. to show up. Sorry I suck at giving feedback...it's just...I'm enjoying this fic so much...and I guess that's about what a writer expects to know from his/her readers. :D

Found a teensy weensy typo: "Gintama rubbed the faint grid of bamboo weave impressed on his cheek." I think you meant "Gintoki" and not "Gintama". XD

Also the scene with the Shinsengumi was genius - I love how you managed to sneak in interactions between all the characters - Okita & Gintoki, then Hijikata & Gintoki, Okita & Kagura (I can see Kagura sneering magnificently! :D Okita, S-mode activating!), Yamazaki & Shinpachi (!!♥♥♥ the two 地味 characters get some screen time together!) and then topping it off with Hijikata & Okita and the so very in character and nonsensically Gintama-ish banter over the 'toothpick' - all packed in one short scene. ♥

Hee, thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I love all these chars, in all combinations, so it's much fun to throw them together and watch them play off each other. (and I admit to having a special place in my heart for the poor jimi and tsukkomi chars...must feel sorry for Yamazaki and Shinpachi and all they have to put up with, but at least they can sympathize with one another! ^^)

And I love the Shinsengumi showing up and being pretty-much-friends with the Yorozuya. Of course it's a toothpick, yes! XDD

I love all the chars but the Shinsengumi are an awful lot of fun to write. Especially since they write themselves a lot ^^
