xparrotHappy 2011! We are officially Living in the Future. And if I don't have my hovercar in 4 years I will be quite put out. (Well. Provided I have the money to buy one...)
Yuletide reveals are posted! Mine was for Gargoyles, which series I've loved since the pilot originally aired. To my mind it's second only to Avatar: TLA in awesome American cartoons. It's also one of the first series I ever wrote fic for, though that was back in high school, before I had internet access, so none of it was ever published online. The request was for Macbeth/Demona hatesex, a pairing I'd never really considered when I watched the show - though when I thought back on it now, they're practically inevitable, and hit a lot of my really-fucked-up codependency kinks. (Demona herself is a fascinating character in retrospect; I'm not sure I can think of another female villain like her, so tragically complicit in her own downfall.)
Not quite sure I managed the hatesex, but there's hate and there's sex - the first time I've ever written explicit het. Eheh.
