I love all the arcs (a couple of the shorter filler-y ones I don't like quite as much - but even the Davy Back fight has the Groggy Ring match which is sheer XDXDXDXD) but W7 just blows me away with how much happens, and the sheer intensity - established nakama backstory and new nakama backstory and the first time the crew really struggle with dissent within the ranks - it's the first time that the question of Luffy being captain is raised, that he's not just their friend and inspiration but also their leader, and all that entails...ahhh, I love it!
And yeah, OP is one of the only series that I really don't have a favorite character. My favorite is whichever nakama is on the page at the time (along with a slew of the side chars - Ace! Smoker! Iceberg-san!) Every time I think that maybe I like Zoro a bit more than everyone else, or Robin is just that awesome, Usopp does something amazing or Nami cracks me up or Chopper shows off his doctor skillz or Sanji is hot (hey, I can be shallow! :P) or Luffy is Luffy, and bam, favorite!
