Avengers fic: No Such Liberty, part 1

Okay, I've reached the point where I can no longer sit on this story, so I'm breaking my WiP rule and starting posting even though the first draft's not yet complete (and is well on its way to becoming the longest fic I've ever written, which is especially absurd given that it has no actual plot to speak of and is basically just a big bundle of ridiculous omg Loki whyyyyyy feels...)

So, Loki and Thor-&-Loki-brotherliness fic, set post-Avengers and picking up immediately where Thor & Loki's parts left off. This is not the way Thor II is going to go (no matter how hard I wish it so.) Angst and drama, and eventually redemption, but this being Loki it is taking rather the long way 'round...

And all the credit and thanks in the nine realms to tomomichi and gnine for being the most awesome and inspiring cheerleaders any writer could ask for - so glad I can share the Loki-ness with you guys :D

Eheh, my apologies? It is an awesome movie, though! (though you might come out of it with completely different tastes, everyone's got their own favorites...and loving the villain is painful, I wouldn't recommend it (even if, well, Loki~~!) XP)

Uh-oh. Do I dare start on this adventure with you? I haven't stopped hearing about it from gnine. And I always want to read everything you write. But... but... Do I want to get dragged into Avengers fandom when I already lack enough time to manage the gardens, and get a little stitching in at least once a week, and keep up with correspondence (or NoT) and business (or NoT) and travel and... and... Why do you DO this to your poor overextended mother?!?!

The movie is definitely fun. And I must admit to a little Loki and Thor/Loki-love myself. But no, I really don't need a super-long fic at this point in my life, and yes, she is DEFINITELY an evil influence. But if you get dragged into Avengers fandom by this, let me know and I just might join you there. 'Twould be fun to fan on something together again.

...ahhhahah there is no need to read this fic, it has NO plot to speak of, it's just a mess of indulgence and feelings and is basically an over-detailed treatise on how much I love villains and sibling relationships, which you already know XD
