So I should be running around last-minute-gift-getting, but I've mostly been occupied with one particular gift. Finally finishing the novel - I'm not quite gonna make the end in time, though. I'm blaming Cash. Considering his past, he's surprisingly unwilling to angst in the present. "C'mon, you remember what losing her did to you, seeing him steal her shape like this, doesn't it make you want to cry?" "Hmm, lemme think. Nope, I'd rather break the bastard's nose." Silly boy. So I haveta beat him up instead.

(...I hate Franky for beating the crap outa Usopp. I love Lucci for beating the crap outa Zoro & Luffy. Hypocrisy? Or fangirl shallowness? You decide! I'll be in the corner, drooling over nekoneko no mi boy.)

Also, Franky? Not so sexy with a guitar as a certain cook.

And then...I...I don't know...is Franky gonna scrap the Merry?! It can't end so simply!

--tho'...I kinda do like Franky better now. Still cannot believe he's nakama material (for one, he is a scrapper, not a pirate. and he's got a whole crew of his own, he's not likely to be content to become a crewmember. It's not like the square girls can come with him...) He's the Bon Clay of the arc, most entertaining but not a permanent sort of char. I think he and Iceberg-san are gonna rebuild the Galley-la together.

...or whatever. Like anyone can predict OP. I sure didn't see Usopp & Franky having a casual if noisy conversation...

I was not expecting... any of it. ^^;; At all. Am rather incapaciteted by the WTF factor right now, and will be drooling in the corner over the pretty pretty Sanji cover. *prints*

Finally, a chapter I can laugh at. And Usopp! He looks happy. Probably, that'll mean some people being mad at him. But he's always been good at that. (My mom is dead! ... pirates are coming!!)

Franky is gonna be uber-pissed. All his nakama but those girls are dead, right? Eeek. This chapter at least got Franky's nakama potential to reach Pauley's, I think. There's still obstacles to both of them joining.

You impressed me with your manliness--! And yet we still don't know what the money is for. Hopefully something he can use against CP9. CP9 will probably end up blowing up the ship, I think... which'll leave Franky to salvage what he can? Even if he's just planning to do that now, I don't think Usopp will let him. He won't give up on the idea that GM can be saved as it is, I think.

It's not just that Lucci is handsome, it's that there's a big diff between beating up the fighters and beating up Usopp. Before he took off his mask, we didn't know he wasn't bishounen, but he was still picking on/putting down the "average guy" rather than our resident "monsters". If you beat up Usopp, you suck. If you beat up Luffy or Zoro, damn, you cool. See also: Mihawk.

Mmm, thing is, Franky is now a viable option as not only ship-rebuildy-person (wait, can he do that?) and ship musician. And we all know how much Luffy was jonesing for one of those ... seems he'd like Pauly more though, by virtue of I SAY SO.

Surely, they wouldn't both join, though. Surely not. -_-;;

I think Franky's sexiness with the guitar is largely hampered by the speedo. Among .. a great many other things, but the first thing I noticed was the speedo.

Was happy to see Usopp again of course...but not sure of this Franky being more potential nakama stuff...still much prefer Paulie...

OP 350 was.. awesome. I loved the cover to bits, I loved Usopp and Usopp's bandaged nose to bits, and I love Franky too all of the sudden. I didn't even like him that much before! I don't think he's gonna join the Straw Hat-pirates though, he's too... crazy. He'd just stop being so much fun after some time. And I like Pauly more, really. But, the next chapter isn't gonna come out for two more weeks, right...? *pout* Can I friend you by the way? :D You are awesome and I love your writing. ^_^

Yep, I'm crossing fingers for Paulie to be nakama'ed myself, even if I am liking Franky more now than I ever suspected I could. Ah, Oda-sensei, you play with us so well...!

and you're welcome to friend me - I don't post much and it's usually just ridiculous fangirling when I do, but that's always more fun with company ^^ and glad you've enjoyed my stories!
