I never listened to audio books for the same reason, it's too slow.
For this show I'd be worried that I wouldn't be able to identify who is who -- I'm not that great at telling apart voices (mostly because I never had to try?). But I think I'll give it a listen at some point soon just because your posts on tumblr make this seem like a genuinely cool thing :) Thanks for the link!
