sundial_exchange, but I'm making a post so I'm able to add to it if need be!
In general, when it comes to fanning, I'm very character/relationship-oriented; in any fandom there tends to be a few characters and a few relationships that I'm into, and that's what I want fic/art/etc about. Plus I'm very much an OTP-type fan in that I have my favorite relationships (either romantic or family/platonic) and I don't want to see them broken up, or made into something other than how I see them (for some fandoms and relationships, I am happy with both gen and romance; for others -- like these -- I only want one or the other). I also like happy endings, and I'm not into explicit smut.
Within these bounds, I'm liable to enjoy nearly anything, canon or AU, future or past, first time or established relationship. When it comes to the happy ending I have no preference for how to get there; some of my favorite fics are fluffy domestic romcom, some are intense angst, some are epic adventures. I am a long-time h/c fan (and after this year especially, I'm more into comfort than hurt).
But really, one of my favorite things about fandom is sharing fannish feelings. So more than anything, I hope you enjoy the making of whatever you create, and can take my particular inclinations as inspiration rather than limits.
Request #1: Guardian drama
Characters: Shen Wei, Zhao Yunlan
Shen Wei/Zhao Yunlan is one of my all-time favorite romantic OTPs, and I want them to live happily ever after, whatever canon may have tried to pull. I love the Guardian novel too, so any elements pulled from that is cool!
Hurt/comfort is always a hit for me! So is domestic fluff. I'm especially partial to Shen Wei being vulnerable and learning that it's not the literal end of the world if someone (Zhao Yunlan) has to take care of him for once. My favorite h/c is altered mental states (I love drunk/drugged Shen Wei; also fevers, concussions, etc.) and I like it as light or as heavy as it can go. For fluff I like couples navigating the little challenges of making a life together, preferably with lots of cuddling!
I love both angst and comedy. Romantic comedy is great and I'm fond of light jealousy and mutual pining. Angst is delicious as long as there's a happy end. Give me all the fix-its.
Art or vids along any of these themes would be awesome, h/c scenarios or domestic moments in particular (especially any with cuddling/holding!)
Art, remix fic, podfic, etc based on any of my own fic are always very welcome; I have blanket permissions on all of it.
DNWs: sad endings (angst with a happy ending is A+ though!), permanent break-ups, explicit sex (nonexplicit is fine)
Request #2: The Lost Tomb Reboot
Characters: Wu Xie, Pangzi, Zhang Qiling, Liu Sang
I watched this show for Zhu Yilong and then fell so hard for the Iron Triangle as gen platonic lifemates -- if Wu Xie wasn't ZYL, Pangzi would probably be my favorite character in the show. I also like Liu Sang thrown into their mix and getting the big brothers he never had and didn't know he wanted, and the rest of their crew is welcome too (especially if the taser buddies Jia Kezi and Li Jiale can be resurrected, or the women unfridged!)
Gen hurt/comfort would be wonderful, with any of the Iron Triangle hurt or comforting. Wu Xie and Pangzi teaming up to rescue Xiaoge? Pangzi and Xiaoge fretting over Wu Xie? Wu Xie returning the favor and saving Pangzi? all excellent! Domestic fluff is also great -- maybe the Iron Triangle raising their new adopted daughter! I love platonic cuddling and the show indulged me marvelously in this and that just made me want more. Basically anything exploring the Iron Triangle love & friendship.
I'm only passing familiar with Daomu Biji canon outside of TLTR but wouldn't mind something set in one of those times as long as it's not super confusing.
