Gargoyles comic! Official continued canon by the Weisman himself! Looks pretty cool, too, from the preview shots - I'm not a big fan of modern comic-book style (mostly not used to it more than anything else, I think) but it's a reasonable adaption from the show.

And besides - more Gargoyles! More Goliath/Elisa! More of Alexander growing up! More Puck, and more Xanatos!!!

I better hurry up and finish that KaibaCorp-partners-with-Xanatos Ent. x-over before the new canon totally Josses me...

OMG YAY! I loved this series so much--so sad to see it taken off the air, so it's good to see some sort of (canon, at that!) continuation. Thank you so much for posting the link. Hm .. may have to go back to buying comics again ...

I just may have to pick these up ...

We've been watching Gargoyles on DVD, which means we still have half the 2nd season to go (hasn't come out yet) and I've been trying halfheartedly not to spoiler myself. Not too hard, though.

Frankly, if it meant more story, I'd probably read stick-figure comics ^_^

*needs a Gargoyles icon bad*

Gargoyles was one of my favorite series ever - I watched it when it original aired, which was long before I saw any anime, so the whole continuing arc/character development thing in a tv show (much less a cartoon!) was a totally new concept to me.

However many issues they do, I hope they eventually release it in graphic novel format, I don't like comic books (they're too flimsy and don't fit well on my bookcases, and they're harder to lend to people :P)

Eee, I've always loved it - I watched it back when it originally aired, when I was still in high school, so nostalgia colors some of my love, but it's still a great series. Mmm, the end of 2nd season is great, I can't wait for it to be out on DVD - the Avalon world tour I wasn't really into, but The Gathering and Hunter's Moon are some of the best eps of the show. But there's several story elements that were never properly resolved, so I can't wait to see what happens in this new series. (I happily forget that the bastard child "Goliath Chronicles" ever existed, but fortunately so does Weisman...)
