I dashed this off in all of an hour; gnine was going through "Justice" looking for shots for her latest art, made a comment about Oliver and Clark; I retorted with something I've been saying about Clark for a while, then realized it was a fic waiting to happen.

"Billionaire looks," Clark said, gesturing covertly. "With his eyes going up and down and then focusing on my eyes, and the little smile. It's how billionaires look at people."

Oh, god -- this would explain so much. *falls over laughing* Love Clark getting clued in by Lois. Love him testing his approach out first, even if it's on Oliver. Love Lex's reaction, first to Clark's abrupt appearance, and then to his unexpected proposition. And now I can't help wondering if Lionel was also giving Clark billionaire looks.... *still laughing*
