Hmmmm, naw, that wouldn't count. It's really not about kneeling but about bowing, with the respect that implies...a kirin can only bow to their emperor (as in, they physically cannot lower their head in a gesture of respect to anyone else, even if they want to) but they can get down on their knees to talk to small people and such without trouble. Clark kneeling to Lana to propose is something of an issue, though...
