I figured out the mind control! It's totally unsupported fanwank, I know...but it makes me feel better about it, at least. (Why I'm content to just write Chloe & Clark off as lost to the bad writing, but have to justify Lex, I don't know. Umm...Lex is hot? ^^;)
Yeah, SV has warped so much canon that there's a part of me seriously hoping that they'll just forget the comics entirely and redeem Lex. Or else just make Clark go totally evil and join him! Save the world together, or rule it...either way works for me (and hey, with Lex it's probably one and the same anyway. I really don't think Lex running the world would be the worst thing that could happen...)
