For some reason, drabbles come as easily to me in this fandom as the full fics are hard. This was true of One Piece, too; it's a quality of my Type A fandoms, perhaps.

A Maddening Quirk of Time Lord Biology

It occurred to Rose after several trips, and several tight hugs, what she was missing. "Didn't you tell me once, before your regeneration, that it was..." She hesitated. "...your last chance?"

"Mm?"

"Thought you were twisting my arm, like blokes will, but..." She stared at him in dismay. Ruffled brown hair, dark eyes to drown in. As usual wondering what was under that tight suit; Cassandra had hit that one on the nose. "So now you can't? ...With anyone?"

"Nope. Sorry," the Doctor added apologetically. "If it makes you feel any better, I don't miss it."

"It doesn't," Rose sighed.

Awww... sad. I don't buy into this one as much as the other, but it's still sad. And very ironic, in it's own way. I like it.

Aw, I meant it more as a humor piece - I don't really believe in using biology to explain any of the Doctor's peculiarities, but for some reason my brain won't stop throwing these ideas out! And it would explain the Eighth & Ninth's flirting - the ultimate mid-life crisis before Time Lord menopause hits...

True, but then again I always think of Ten as fairly flirtatious too, though not, perhaps, as much as the other two. None the less the idea of Timelord Menopause is rather funny...

I actually have no idea about Doctor Who since I've never watched it, but this is giving me very horrible thoughts. Along the lines of 'that's okay Rose, maybe you want to top instead?' This is all your fault.
