NCIS fic: These Things Do Happen

Argh! The usual December writing doldrums are putting such a crimp in my fic-style. I've got a story due for sga_santa, but am I writing that? Of course not! Instead, when I finally did manage to kick myself into writing, this popped out. --Before anyone throws up their hands in either delight or dismay, no, this is not the start of anything. If gnine gets her wish there might be one or two more where this one came from, but nothing major. I'm still going steady with SGA; this is just a fling.

--Though I must do an NCIS post o' squee; I'm all caught up to the current season and enjoying the heck out of it. Such a fun series! Such a cute team! And yeah, I love Tony like burning. (It's totally not my fault - he's basically a clone of the fanon Peter Venkman, the hot, juvenile, womanizing wise-ass with hidden depths. Plus he hurts real good.) No Tony-hurt here, though; no angst at all, just goofiness. Don't blame me, it's December. (Poor Tim. I'm sorry, sweetie!)

The entire thing is entirely too entertaining and adorable, and there were lines that cracked me up something crazy. Like "And you're sure your father is not secretly an international arms dealer?", because in NCIS-land, this is a question that really needs to be asked. XDD

Such good character voices. ♥ You need to write more!

Maybe not so much more with the crack, but with the characters!! Yes, you do.

Poor, poor Tim - I feel so guilty, doing this to him. Waking up to discover you're going out with Tony! The horror! At least his dad's not an arms dealer...that never ends well..

All I have is crack! ...well, and h/c, but really, the crack is louder. Tony's not too interested in getting hurt, for some reason. Can't imagine why!

(...and don't tell anyone, but I actually adore Michael Weatherly's Sean Connery impression, it's just too easy to make fun of, too XP)

OMG, I LOVED THIS! This was the best NCIS fic I've ever read. Okay, I've read very few NCIS fics, but this was just too damned adorable. Plus, you so nailed the voices in this.

In all honesty, I love McGee/Abby, they are cute as puppies & kittens together. And for that matter Tony/Ziva and Ziva/McGee both are joyful too. Basically I'm an OT4'er, and any combo of them delights me!
