So, hypothetically, with a deliberate self-insert, does one get extra points for making oneself a deity? albeit one that that one's favorite character would gladly run through if given half a chance?

Posted the epilogue of Seven Deaths tonight. Not the longest story I've written by a country mile, but it is the longest I've completed in a couple years. Seventy pages to get to the scene I wanted, and then another forty-five to resolve what was required to bring them to that point. In the end...I like the end. It's probably longer than it needs to be, but I've always been frustrated by stories that come to an immediate stop the moment the plot does. The aftermath can be as rewarding as the main event, sometimes.

Should take a breather from One Piece...the question is, R2B, DV, or the NaNo? Decisions, decisions...
...taking that breather won't be easy, mind, because an evil monster my dear naye has gifted me with a plotbunny that cannot be denied...she figured out how to break Zoro. mwahahaha!

So yeah commenting now. Gods, I LOVE this fic! I honestly love this. It is so raw, so damn subtle and so Sanji and Zoro that it hurts. And the aftermath is -needed-. It is often hard to know when to stop but you ended the story where it needed to end. In this case, the after is as rewarding (if not more so, jsut that slightly more) that the main event. LOVE!!!

...break Zoro? I should be scared, shouldn't I... don't answer that.

As for a break from OP... NOOOOOOO! You're like the only author who write good OP fanfiction. Don't leave us *huggles knees*

*^^* so glad you enjoyed it - especially the end. endings are hard for me, and even ones like this, which I was fairly happy with...it's great to know it worked for someone else.

I'm not leaving OP...I can't, these pirates have their rubber hooks embedded in me deep! Especially when there's Zoro-breaking to do - no, you shouldn't be scared. But he should be! *evil laugh* Am gonna have fun with this one, I'm playing with the whole crew this time around. (ahh, Sanji-kun, you thought you were off the hook? sorry, hon...)

Because you'd started that one before my last visit, and there's not that much left, and think of the characters? They're all angsty and... mmmm... Zoro. I can't resist the pirates. ^^;;.

I love your One Piece fics! Who am I kidding, I like all of your stories - I discovered One Piece and Get Backers because of your fanfics, but I vote for R2B first and DV second. Although the thought of breaking Zoro is tempting. No, definitely R2B followed by DV (I almost have a NEED - a desperate one at that - to have these two stories resolved, but we shouldn't discuss my personal problems here). I'm sure Zoro would be willing to wait a few more weeks to be broken.

believe me, I understand - I've been driven nuts by incomplete stories, too. I have no defense (no, wait, I blame it all on Oda-sensei - OP was not supposed to be this soul-sucking) but I promise you, I will not leave you (or Ginji, or Hakkai, or any of them ^^) hanging forever!

--but, you! You can tell your roommate that she nearly killed two of my friends - they almost died laughing, reading that last review you left! This comic she drew, is there any chance can I see it? May I formally request a 'no' on the one piece breather? I'd love to see that particular plot bunny. (though I'd love to see more DV - you've got me so very addicted to One Piece right now) You did a wonderfull job on the ending btw - I quite enjoyed it; but I'll post those thoughts to ff.net. ...eheheh...yah, like I said, that breather won't be easy to take. Might even be impossible. I'm still more than slightly pirate-obsessed (it is sooo~ addicting, is it not?!) Guess I'll have to figure out how to write with both hands or something... ^^;
