Yes, it's pretty much like they killed the Donna who traveled with the Doctor, except she's not really dead so can't be mourned...and I get that it was supposed to be bittersweet and not a totally happy end, but all the other companions have gotten a happy end and still get to keep having adventures, and it hurts that Donna can't...
