First off, if you've heard about the earthquake in Haiti and want to do something, check out
help_haiti. They've got various donation links, and are running a fandom auction (donate and get a fannish reward!) I'm offering a fic for bidding here.
Unrelatedly, concerning the last ep of NCIS (7x12): wheee~!
I've said it before - Tony is so fanon!Peter Venkman. Conman father and all! (Oddly enough, the main thing I know Robert Wagner from is the '70s BBC drama Colditz. Which I watched for David McCallum. Go fig?)
As for the ep - so much cute all around. As
gnine said, Gibbs confronting Tony Sr. about not being there for his son when he had the plague is something we've been waiting for for forever, and it was just as we wanted it to go. And then, the end - show, I don't want to ship Gibbs/Tony, so why do you make it so hard to resist?
But then, the Tony/Tim in the beginning was adorable, with Tim knowing everything about Tony's troubles. But so too was the Tim/Abby later on...I can't decide! It's very difficult to be an OTPer when I'm shipping everybody!! (One thing I do know - raise your hand if you want to see something really bad happen to poor Tim, just to see everyone else worry frantically about him. Please, show, you're so good about treating us to everything else! And Tony and Ziva have had their turns to be presumed dead, it's Tim's now!)

Date: 2010-01-14 09:09 am (UTC)*raises hand* Seriously ... I am so ready for this! Actually one of the reasons why I've drifted away from NCIS is general frustration that, after seven seasons, they STILL haven't given me a good Tim h/c scene! There's been no shortage of opportunities, and Tony's had a half-a-dozen "team worries about Tony" episodes, but still nothing for Tim! The season premiere came about as close as the show ever has to actual Tim h/c, but then didn't really follow through on it. *pouts*

Date: 2010-01-14 10:29 am (UTC)I can totally understand you drifting because of that - they do give Tony more of the meatier stuff, and while I don't mind that as a Tony-fan, it'd be nice if it were more balanced among everyone. And I know you aren't a Tony fan, so yeah, frustrating. (If the show ever does provide Tim h/c I'll let you know! ^_^)
