Thanksgiving delayed me, so this chapter's a bit longer to make up for it! Aww, Gin-san, I'm sorry...you're (just barely) my favorite, and that never bodes well for any char...

Aww. The stalking, because that is totally how it would go down, and then Gintoki slams down Shinpachi with enough truth that it really hurts him, poor boy.

I love that you let Otose and Catherine take care of Gintoki in their own way. ♥

And apparently Gintoki is getting back into the frame of mind he was in during the war... That is bad. The slip-up with Catherine, and when he almost attacks Kagura - aww! I can't wait for the next chapter!

So glad you're still enjoying it! ^_^ And yeah, I love Otose and Catherine, too, so had to give them something to do, caring for Gintoki in their own special ways.

I really like the idea of Gintoki being a good cook - and it is part of your characterisation, not canon, right?

;_; Gin-san, Gin-san, that's far too serious to really be you! Something really must be happening to him!

Also, the scene with Gintoki suddenly seeing Kagura as Kagura again, and not just an Amanto was not just heart-wrenching (and it was T_T), but something I always wondered about in canon - how is he able to just get along with all the Amanto characters after fighting them for so long? All part of the back story that that darn gorilla keeps taunting us with hints of...

Catherine and Otose ♥♥♥ I love that you're giving each character some spotlight, I LOVE GEN FIC FOREVER it's like you're creating more of the delicious delicious source material (and certainly a marvellous consolation for the fact that we have to wait until April for more Gintama anime! But we are getting more at least ! \o/)

Aaaaactually Gintoki being able to cook is semi-canonical - there's one ep where they're doing a Q&A and one of the questions is about meals, in which it states they take turns cooking, and that Gin-san is better than he looks. And Shinpachi & Kagura don't deny it, so...(I remembered it because I thought it was cute ^_^)

Yeah, I love Otose & Catherine, too, so had to give them a part! Well, I love almost everyone, and managed to get almost all of them in, at least a bit.

And YAAAAAAAY more anime~~~! Oh man I cannot wait, there's been some fantastic arcs in the manga, they are going to be epic animated!! \o/
