Also in Who-news, watched the Christmas special with gnine a few days ago. Enjoyed the awesome fog-fish imagery and LOLed at some of the lines (finally told a lie too big, XDXDXDXD) and the Doctor channeling Holmes; found the story intriguing while having some issues with it, but really that's par for the course for all the specials. (With RTD's specials I tended to roll my eyes at the plots and enjoy the character moments; with Moffat I find the plots delightfully clever and pass the characters by.)

Having a good vacation, but must get back to writing soon~!

Heh, the special! I love the Eleventh Doctor's hijinks to bits. ♥ And, having seen all of the Doctors, I can confidently say that the Doctor has never EVER been a "responsible adult". XDDD (It's about as true as when he told Amy he never got himself involved in the situations he landed in. Fortunately he didn't try to make the psychic paper tell her that! XD)

Hee, with the "responsible adult" line I was trying to figure out if the paper broke because it was trying to say the Doctor was one, or because the entire idea of a truly responsible adult is unbelievable. Either way, XDXDXDXD!

The way I saw it, the Doctor tried to have the paper certify him as a "universally recognized mature and responsible adult" and I totally read that as the lie was too big because he ISN'T. The psychic paper is okay with certifying him as almost any insane thing he likes (how many times has he barged in claiming to be an "inspector of stuff" or something to that effect?), but "mature and responsible"? Nope. *giggles*
