I honestly need to sit and watch it again, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to take this batch of files off of my hard drive ever. ALL THE FEELINGS FOREVER~

I'm also trying to resist spending money I really shouldn't spend on that new album even though I know it's not really that expensive and it needs to be on my hard drive RIGHT NOW. Because, man, it really needs to be on my hard drive.

Ahahaha, I'm only up to my third time so far and I've read what Hussie had to say on Tumblr. I am slowly getting beyond "OH MY GOD SO MUCH SHINY" and actually beginning to parse what the hell I'm watching. XD And I will never stop having hearts in my eyes over PM. I always had a feeling she was going to do that but it was still beautiful. [although the other Exiles... that I did not see coming. D:]

I am almost tempted to sit down and start on a second read-through now to see what I can pick up on and what I've forgotten.... which is insanity and I really should have done it during that two month downtime. But that would have been far too easy. XD

Yay discussion! Have now watched it...4 times? 5? with my bro and shrieked a lot - we've got a whole boatload of whacky theories (what exactly *is* the second way to ascend to godtier - after you die, to be in your dream self, in a quest bed inside the moon that gets destroyed by Green Sun energy? Because that's what seems to have happened to Rose & Dave, following Aradia's path - and did she clue them in on how to pull that off? And where exactly did God!Jade take them all through the 4th wall - crossing the yellow yard, but where do they go from there? And is WV really dead or can he also attain his godhood, since we once saw him seem to have a dream self? and just how much awesome does Jade have now anyway (ALL OF IT!))

(also hee, can I just say how glad I am to see another Western-media fan into this? 'cuz lately when I see fandom friends complaining about poor plotting or lack of developed female characters, I invariably find myself wanting to tell them reeeeeeead Homestuck!)

I have been wondering about Serenity myself...and Jade as God, yes of course, but the whole world in her hands, ahahahah! (though Aradia strikes me as more a Holy Ghost?)

And Cal = Lord English might have been confirmed? Since he was sitting in Gamzee's lap for this: "the most important character in Homestuck fondly regards the miracle of a new beginning."

SO gorgeous! And after watching it...uh...5 times? or maybe 6?...I actually think I understand nearly all of it! ...which worries me. And okay, I still have a lot of questions as to how it happened (and Rose & Dave and how exactly the 2nd path to godhood works) and what happens next...NEEEED MORE!

But yeah - totally worth waiting for!

Yeah, my mind felt just pretty much short circuited after watching it the first time, but after reading his blog posts as well as a few other things, either it made more sense or I realized I'd understood more of it than I thought I had. Or probably both. I'm not sure I'll totally grasp all of it, though, until later stuff lets me understand it in context. Though I suppose the animation itself had pretty much all of the context, but all at once. I'd like the context to come in a somewhat more linear fashion now, please.

And emotions, yes--Jade!! And I hadn't even realized I had any feelings toward the exiles until they were gone. NOOOOOO!! But apparently PM's gonna be totally awesome now. :)

I can't wait for more, so I can understand more of what happened just in time to not understand other things! Hooray for brain-breaking goodness!

I think I understand almost all of it now - which kind of worries me ^^;;; Especially since it took at least half a dozen viewings. But soooo awesome!
