gnine is now insisting that "Static" makes perfect sense if you accept meteormutant!Lana - Lex was off his Lana-resisting drugs the whole time he was in the other frequency ^^ (we also justify it by saying that Lex was thinking the guy was possibly listening the whole time, or set it up such that Lana would hear him eventually...)
