I'd disagree with you about "I want to go home" being out of place, but... Well, disagreement feels like it'd be a lot out of place in a post where the owner of this journal specified that This is a post of squee, so if you're not so enamored, please to be politely covering your ears and moving along.
But if you make your own post about it, I'll gladly come over there and present my view of that scene, as well as the other things you were discussing here!
