FullMetal Alchemist, in a couple years, is going to be one of those classic shows, like Eva or Ranma or Slayers, a defining anime, that like it or hate it, you have to have seen it to be a "real" anime fan.

As for this latest ep...

This show is so....so...I don't know. Mind warping. and creepy. geeze louise is it creepy.

When Ed was asking who has the skill to do this kinda thing, was I the only one thinking "Hohenheim"?

And how many people knew what the last line was gonna be before Ed said it, and shivered? Watch it, Edo-kun, you skirting close to that abyss...

Reflection of Al in the preview, that's gotta be painful. And is Al in the background just bound, or actually partially disassembled? Have a bad feeling here.

Seriously, Senpai and I watched it raw when it came out and spent nearly the entire episode shrieking variations of "WHAT THE?!" and "OH MY GOD!" at stuff that happened. XD

Am also amused that everyone but everyone I've talked to has mentioned how hot Scar was as a kid. XD

(Finally: DLKFJO ET:OSFMLDF I WANT NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE. Like, RIGHT NOW, kthx. What's with the prisoners being herded like they're going to make the Stone?! What's with the Al-reflection?! How much of Envy beating the crap outta Ed are we gonna see? AND WHY IS THIS HAPPENING THE WEEK BEFORE MY FINALS?! *shikushiku*)

I've been thinking Scar is way too hot all along. In the manga, not so much, but the anime...but they're making him a much more sympathetic char in the anime, so that's par for the course...

Next ep, like, yesterday, would be nice.

Yes, that was - unexpected. Tucker, and... Uh, everything else too. Poor Scar indeed. Still wondering if he has the *design* his brother made for him, or if that's actually his brother's arm. (This is an anime, and an extreme one at that - getting arms is no impossibility.)

Yah, and me and shayera have been speculating about that arm for a while now, since he talks about "this arm that my brother gave me". Not "this freaky design". Of course, other people react and say "arm" instead of "design" too, but... there was something in the way he said it that made us go "huh". Could be all the Trigun-watching too, yes.

Mmm. I know Ed doesn't think a lot about his dad that we see. He hates him, it's quite natural that he doesn't. But he's also a very, very smart kid, and if he has the ability to affix souls to armours... where did he get that knowledge anyway? If it wasn't instinctive (which I doubt), it must have been from his father's books. I think it's one of those things that you don't think about because you don't want it to be true...

No, you're not the only one who thought of Hoenheim at that point. ^^;; And I felt the same about Ed's last line there, too... It was coming. Poor Ed. ^^;;;

Yeah, I've been wondering about Scar's name too. Too bad they didn't mention it... since they didn't in the flashback, maybe they won't. Maybe he feels "Scar" is a good name for him right now.

Yes, "Scar-san" is amusing. Especially said by Al - he's way too nice to people. But I think that was the only thing in the entire episode that made me smile...
