Went to Indiana Jones 4 tonight. Ahahahah huh? Why were they interdimensional aliens? Seriously, regular spacemen just aren't good enough for Spielberg anymore? And why wasn't Nicholas Ballard mentioned even once? Because Daniel Jackson's grandfather discovered the alien-communicating trans-dimensional crystal skull. I know. It's one of my favorite episodes!

Nah, I don't buy it either. I mean, come on, if the Doctor regenerated it wouldn't be in such a ridiculous fashion. The "OMG ROSE!" running scene of cheesyness ... nope. Too awful and undignified.

That's what I thought, too - they can't kill Ten without giving him a real send-off. He's gotta be saving the universe, not just prancing about. For that matter I don't believe they'd have an entire finale episode with a new Doctor, folks wouldn't stand for it!

OH THANK GOD! I thought I was the only one who was going to say anything about it! But yes, Steven Frikken Spielberg stole the latest Indy movie from SG-1. I'm only just watching SG-1 now so when I saw the eppy I nearly freaked.

Just about to watch the Who eppy that has everyone posting "WHAT THE...? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Gawd...almost too worried to even go there...

XD - when I first heard the title of the Indy movie I went HEY WHAT NOW? Because "The Crystal Skull" is one of my top 10 favorite eps of SG1 (snarky!ghost!Daniel! vaguely worried team! what's not to love?) but I was surprised about how many details the two had in common. I'm wondering if it's a coincidence or if someone copied from someone else (or else they were both drawing on the same source?)

Well, the SG-1 eppy is about 8 years old, isn't it?...so it's not looking good for Team Spielberg. {{:)And I would have said similar sources, except both stories have mad grandfathers leading them to the Alien hangout. Hmmmmm.....

As for DW.... I'm about to be very, very pissed off. I like 10, if 10 dies, I may just have to leave the fandom for a while. Grrrr. But yes, for the moment, I'm not letting myself believe that. In fact, I've started thinking through ways they can back themselves out of that after screwing with us like that (well, they did say Donna was something new now, and mentioned the 'temporal beetle' again - foreshadowing?) but that may just be to keep myself sane.

The kicker is, I saw your post before we went to watch the episode (was too tired last night) and I'm like- uh... maybe we should wait until closer to the next episode coming out, I think this one might bug me.... and Bryan was all about seeing Rose again and ass kicking, so we watched it anyway... ya, he's been getting 'the look' all day because of that. *laughs*

Re: Indy 4 - who stole from who, I want to know? Leaked script influenced SG1, possibly? Or some other source inspired both? Or just coincidence? I preferred the SG1 ep, at any rate XP

And Who...yeeeeah, more I think about it, the more I don't believe it. They just didn't give Ten a proper sendoff if he were really leaving - it's totally a fakeout. An evil one!! XP
