SGA fic: Speech Deprived

Snuck in another sga_flashfic just under the wire. This one begun more or less to gnine's order:

G: Gimme Rodney-hurt!
X: But everything that you could do to him already has been written.
G: Mmm, yeah *happy sigh* *goes off to reread friendshipper's snowfic, comes back half an hour later* What about strangling? I haven't read much strangling!
X: ...You realize I've already written mouth-to-mouth in my last two fics.
G: This is a problem how?

SGA: Speech Deprived {~5,300 words}
PG, McShep, fluffy h/c
Rodney was released from the infirmary with painkillers, icepacks, and a strict injunction to limit all unnecessary speech for at least three days.

(And, uh, you remember how you were hesitant to get into this fandom because of the fangirl-soul-sucking nature of it? I think your fears may have been entirely accurate ...)

I TOLD YOU! Really, this fandom's got evil power. I think some of it is sheer size - I've almost never had a fandom that I simply am not running out of good fic to read. But there's just something about its balance of awesome and imperfection that keeps you coming back, or won't let you stray...

Slightly off topic, but... is it sad that I'm waiting for you to watch Who first, so I know if it's going to break my brain (and heart) before I go into it blindly? I mean, somehow it's better if I know I'm going to be pissed off about it before I get blindsided...

I haven't seen it yet - STUPID R@R#I^T(YP%EYHU^$ INTERNET, I've been trying to get the last 100 MB for the last 6 hours >_> - but if you're really curious, naye has a post about it (I haven't read it, as I don't want spoilers, but if you do want to know we tend to be of like minds about Who...)
