SGA Remix fic!

gateverse_remix went live today! My own remix assignment was friendshipper, which was hard, because I love her stories, but they're so complete in themselves that I couldn't think of anything more to bring to them without going into epic retellings. So, after much dithering, I cheated and remixed "Safe Harbor", because I always wished it were longer, and the world needs more Rodney & Ronon h/c...

Meanwhile, seleneheart remixed my "Kuro to Ao" into dystopian AU McShep in "M Is for Monster" (this amuses me all the more because "Kuro to Ao" is a remix itself, being a fairytale retelling...)

Yes!! I remember reading a meta post where she mentioned growing up in Alaska and I got really, really excited. *g* Since I can count on my fingers the number of fans up here and all. :D

Yep, lifelong Alaskan -- I'm in Fairbanks. ^_^ You'd think that hypothermia h/c would hit a little too close to home for me, but strangely, it never gets old!

Haven't we discussed this before -- are you the person in Kenai? Or am I thinking of someone else?

I think we did discuss it! But I'm from Anchorage. :D I remember you mentioning a futuristic underground city based on the Dimond Center, though. ;)

Durrrrr. ::headdesk:: Yeah, the Dimond Center conversation *is* the one I'm thinking of, but I must be conflating it with a different conversation (or just remembering wrong), because I thought I remembered talking to someone from the Kenai area at some point. Maybe.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I wrote my last comment. XD Started to calculate what time it was for you, and then realized, wait, the same time as it is for me! That never happens!
