xparrotI'm sad to be living abroad for this - disappointed that I can't personally witness the energy that's all over my flist, all over America right now. Biggest birthday bash of my life and I'm missing it! We might be (better be, hopefully are) making history today, and I want to be there for it. (also am disappointed to be missing the Daily Show special as it airs. Jon Stewart makes everything better. *Sigh*!)

One year later I was breathing in the remains of my fellow residents; two years later we were at war with Iraq. This really feels like the end of an endless nightmare to me.
