genre-ific!

So as a recent ff.net post observed, there's a growing genre of One Piece fic featuring the execution of the future Pirate King. (The proportion of such fic to the total body of extant English OP fic would indeed seem to qualify it for genre status.) And who am I to resist?

Finding One Piece had always been the goal; they had all known it from the start. But had any of them truly realized the cost of becoming Pirate King, the most wanted man in the world?

I'm only in the beginning of the manga, so I am no authority to dive into this series. ^^ Besides, personally, what writing I see that's out there (http://www.fanfiction.net/~xparrot) already is so wonderfully satisfying, I feel no need for me to add more. :) (Sometimes, it's much more fun to be a passenger on a ship, and leave the sailing to the hardworking crew. ^_^)

Man, all I did this morning was whine to myself after reading the same note. But, you! Productive! And the end, I like the end especially. Zoro's bit is so envisionable. It's the stumble, and the crowd and the chase and all. This just made my day that much cooler.
