I am also very pleased by Numb3rs. They *do* deal with mature and difficult themes in very quiet yet interesting ways. I mean I can't imagine another cop drama in which one main character is explicitly an atheist and the other is exploring becoming a jew and that is not part of any purple drama. Ohh and Charlie wanting to find the solution to violence through math. And of course David/Colby and their meat.
