I read all all three parts of this story and enjoyed it very much. I watched The Sentinel show and really enjoyed. I recently found the fan fiction and am enjoying them as well. Thank you for sharing this, you did a great job with the characters.

So glad you enjoyed the stories! (the Merlin demon story was "Pieces," with Peter being dead, I'm guessing? that was always one of my personal favorites ^_^) I haven't written for RGB in a while, but I'm happy to know the fandom is still going strong!

i enjoyed this piece, it was beautiful and left me wanting more. i don't usually read LOTD fan fiction, but i couldn't help but be intrigued by this one. i agree that the ending of the trilogy left me satisfied, except, actuallt, in regard to sam. when he went home to marry rosie my first thought was "who's rosie?!?" and then "He would never leave Frodo!". and i understood that sam still desired that normalcy that frodo could never have now, but his devotion to frodo always seemed so above and beyond what was neccessary in a servant or companion, i was certain (and this was before i even understood what being gay was or had ever read a word of slash) that sam loved frodo more than anyone or anything. and even if there wasn't anything romantic to it (which i now think is very possible, and even then giggled awkwardly when sam would say things like "lay your head apon my lap" to frodo) i was always dicontent with the idea that sam wouldn't follow frodo to the end. it was too pure and all encompasing of a love and devotion for it to end the way it did. needless to say i enjoyed your little story greatly!

Thank you! This is very much how I always saw them myself - I first read LotR long long before I'd ever heard of slash, and not being especially inclined toward romance anyway I still don't see them as slashy - but Sam's devotion is such that I can't see it ever lost for good. Hence, the story - and I'm glad you enjoyed it, too!

"A companion for the Soul" review

Second time through this rather confusing story. I like it, even though it's vague.

So, now that Jim and Blair are 'soul-mates', does this mean, they are the ones who talk to their past selves, or was that another pair?

It took me some time to realize that those two were G'Kar the Narn and Lando the Centari.

Good show on the unique crossover.

*laughs* Yeah, this story dates back to when I thought "confusing" = "deep". In my mind, Jim & Blair are a different pair of soulmates than Londo & G'kar, but maybe they are the same pair many incarnations later...I can't say! This particular concept of soulmates is one I've had for years, though, and someday I'd like to do more with it.

Glad you enjoyed the story!

Just finished reading your SG1 fic Confidences (tag to Absolute Power). I love the dialogue format. You captured perfectly the banter/flow of their characters. I liked Jack's insight into Daniel.

I know you wrote this years ago, but I've only just seen it. I really like how you and your sister fixed the horrible season three/cancellation ending. Felt right. Felt like what Jim would say, how he would reason. Well done.
