Ep 199 is great fun. Best filler arc ever, if only for the chance to see everyone in Marine duds. Able seaman Usopp is adorable (recent manga events, plus my latest fic-writing, are conspiring to make me such an Usopp fangirl).

Love this fic. Especially as it's that time of the month for me. You know lunar cycles and turning into a werewolf and all ^_- But yeah, I'm all for the rusty sword through the stomach.

Seriously, love this fic, love how the crew really care and love Nami. The guys' reaction were great. I especially love Zoro's reaction to the laundry, and Sanji's tea, oh and let's not forget Luffy's attempt at cleaning with Usopp's assistance. LOVE!! I wish I had guy friends who were that helpful. Every guy I have ever met just don't want to know. LOVE the CREW!!!! MORE?

Usopp obviously learned it from Kaya. Or something. He seems like the type who would read, in any case. ^^;; Not to mention, if he has a girlfriend, he needs to know about those sorts of things.

Zoro learned it from Kuina. He'd like, challenge her to a battle and then some days she'd either outright refuse, or she'd beat him up worse than usual. AHAHAHA. And then he either asked her, and got beat up some more, or asked her dad, who gave Zoro a book about the birds and the bees.

I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying the current story arc, given Toei's past track record with fillers, I really like that chess playing, conniving Commander what's his name, first time that they gave an original character enough charisma to be on par with our beloved troupe of pirate misfits.

And speaking of which, bwahahahaha, Nami's wrong-time-of-the-month, man, just trying to imagine Usopp trying to explain to Luffy how babies came to this world is sheer hilarity beyond belief,

By the way, have you tried movie 5? From the first five minute look of it I'm afraid to go beyond that point, movie 3 was traumatizing enough, I really don't want to risk it again.

Yah, Commander Jonah is pretty cool...follows in the great One Piece antagonist tradition by being eccentric but not stupid.

glad you liked the fic bit! ^^ and movie 5, well...it had its moments, but then I was amused by Movie 3, too. Fillers and movies I sort of consider A/Us anyway, so...(Movie 5 did tick me off 'cuz of false advertising - the Japanese ads said "Luffy vs Zoro", and then there was no Luffy vs Zoro! Sigh...)

This is over five months late, but I was reading this for what is probably the sixth time today (I find myself rereading it once a month...), and noticed I had never reviewed.

I love this fic completely. Every word of it just seems so right, and I can clearly picture all of it happening. I adore Zoro being helpful and actually wanting to know, Usopp giving Luffy the talk gives me giggle fits, and Sanji waxing suicidal at the end is lovely. ^_^

Your stories are so hard for me to review, because by the time I'm done with each chapter, I'm a gibbering puddle of fangirl who just wants to type 'OMG, soooo good!', and leave it at that. But, with the amount of work your put into all of your writing, I always try to leave constructive comments at most, and grammatically correct sentences, at least. You're welcome! I don't remember if I told you so because I went into a One Piece-fic rampage these last days, but I really like your style, your humor and your characterization :p (I always struggle to find an answer to this kind of praise other than "err thank you very much...", so sorry for the hassle 8D)
