It's all the flashbacks throughout this chapter that just make it hurt so bad. And then, "Jaa na...Usopp. Ima made...tanoshikatta."

but Oda-sensei has never given anything an unhappy ending, has he?? in the end it always works out...it has to it has to...he is making this so exquisitely painful, it's all just because he likes to make us cry, but not for always...right? right??

I wanna know just what Sanji is yelling at Chopper, it's hard to make out...but Nami crying...and Luffy. Luffy, who doesn't cry, not for real...this is the first time since he was a kid, that we've seen.

Are they gonna leave Usopp behind, only to have him come in and save them all at the last minute? or or or or...no....they can't do this...not for real...can they? can he? Shounen Jump's last splash note is "Saraba Usopp!!!" - not even sayonara.

I want it to be the island, or something...Water 7 is a bad place, it worried Aokiji. Except it doesn't seem that way...that's what makes this so bad, because it's so absolutely in character. I have one one hope that this isn't quite as bad as it seems, because Zoro is so damn calm about it. And Zoro understands things, a lot, he might realize that Luffy is doing this...for some reason, somehow...but it could just be because Luffy is his captain. I need better scans to make out just what Zoro says in that final "Captain daro" speech...

...either way I have a terrible feeling this isn't gonna be resolved for a while...most agonizing arc ever...
